Infrared Photographs

Infrared pictures are very hard to do (for me, at least).  But I simply love the very light leaves  on trees (which makes them look like cherry blossoms).

Of course it’s hard to do that with people since it takes long exposure (unless the camera is modified).

  1. These look great!I don’t have a fancy DSLR camera (yet). is there any special equipment you need to do these shots (filters etc.)?

    • Yes. You need to use an infrared filter otherwise you need a sensor modification. You can use a filter even on non-SLR/mirrorless if you can screw or tape the filter on the lens.
