Post-Processing: Salvaging a Badly Lit Photo

This is one of my photos in Puting Buhangin Beach, Padre Burgos.  It was shot in the morning and the clouds have not yet lifted.  Everything was gray.

In post-processing, I used two graduated filters (one for the sky and one for the sea).  For the sky, I increased the temperature (warmer) to get that orange-pink color while for the sea, I lowered the temperature for a purplish-bluish one.  A couple of contrast, clarity and vibrance increases and…. a generally good picture.
