Random Photo: Buntot Palos Falls

Canon 60D with 18-135mm lens.

This was taken on Jason’s birthday climb last January in Buntot Palos Falls, Siniloan, Laguna.  “Buntot Palos” is tagalog for “eel’s tail” and that is how the falls is supposed to look like.  It was very difficult taking a photograph near the falls that time since it was raining and the water vapor coming from the falls fogs the lens after a few minutes.  I also did not bring a tripod so I had to rest the camera on the rocks.  (That’s the kind of abuse that my 60D took before it eventually got broken in Baler).

The light was not that good since this is late afternoon under gray gray skies and the fog in the air and in the lens resulted in lower contrast.
